Iao Heals Wood Print

Growing up in Wailuku, ‘Iao and the river were always accessible. After living in Japan, my art would understandably take on an influence from the culture and surroundings. I’m looking forward to challenging myself with new landscape paintings, without the pressure of replicating a photograph (which IMO what is the point)…but instead portraying the spirit and essence of the subject.

Digitally printed by Chromaco in Oahu, Hawaii on birch wood. Printed using archival ink, a transparent ink that allows the wood grain visibility amongst the artwork. Ready to hang with just a single screw or nail!
