We offer lei as a way to celebrate graduations, retirements, birthdays, etc. Lei are also offered in other moments of deep love and gratitude. My favorite lei are the ones heavily aromatic with plumeria, puakenikeni, and other blossoms...given to me as I return to Maui after a long journey away...
